Synopsis

“Legami” is a theatrical performance that follows the adventures of two deliverymen from “Human Package,” a company that delivers parcels in an unconventional way, using only legs, hands, and ropes. However, when the two arrive at the delivery location, the recipient is mysteriously absent.

What begins as an ordinary wait turns into a series of unpredictable events, leading the two deliverymen to play, argue, and even contemplate abandoning the job, only to return to hoping for the recipient’s arrival. During this long wait, the two discover a deep connection between them, highlighting the importance of human relationships.

The stage setting is simple, featuring only the package and hemp ropes that the two performers use to create original juggling acts. “Legami” is a mix of clowning, juggling, and absurd theater, drawing inspiration from the endless wait in the famous “Waiting for Godot.” Through a comedic and poetic approach, the show explores the theme of human relationships and invites the audience to reflect on their significance.

Ties or… Bonds

The concept of ties between people, represented by the hemp rope in the performance, takes on a polysemic dimension, offering a reflection on the various facets of the term. It can be interpreted positively when referring to emotional bonds that connect people, but it can also have a negative connotation when referring to the limitations that ties may impose on individual freedom.

The theatrical representation we aim to bring to the stage, through the expressiveness of contemporary circus, plays with this ambivalence, highlighting the coexistence of two divergent perspectives on bonds.

These seemingly opposing viewpoints ultimately reveal themselves to not necessarily be in conflict.
