Synopsis
At the edge of a dark wood, a cold and hungry lad is wandering about. His father has just died and left him a cat as an inheritance.
– A cat? Are you mad? What am I supposed to do with a cat? –
But that cat can talk, and it’s no ordinary cat. In fact, the very first thing it asks Costantino is to give it his boots.
– ‘My boots? To a cat? Are you mad?’-
But the lad, Costantino – whether he understood or not – agrees to his request and, by giving him the boots, also places his fortune in the cat’s paws (and he won’t regret it).
