Synopsis

ITALO PORMOPOMPO’ is a show built around topics from the Italian primary and middle school curriculum, presented in a simple, lighthearted language while remaining thorough and enriched with trivia, connections to other subjects, folk songs, and popular Italian idioms.
Before the show, the audience is invited to work with the actor to build a map of Italy using the shapes of the Italian regions. This map, alongside an Italian tricolor flag and a national football team jersey, serves as the set design for the piece. Constructing this map triggers an essential audience interaction that establishes a relaxed, candid, and friendly dialogue between the performer and the guests.
